Women
supporting
local health
services
Hats O ToWomen is an event that
draws the participation of charitable-
minded women who support Simi
Valley Hospital’s e orts to bring the
best possible health care to the com-
munities they serve.
In partnership with our new sponsor,
California Lutheran University, this
year’s event will be the best ever!
The
event will raise funds to support Simi
Valley Hospital’s Emergency Services
and Hospital Expansion Project, which
will double the size of the Emergency
Department, bene ting the residents of
Simi Valley, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks
and the surrounding area.
I
love the springtime, when the air
just seems fresher and everyone feels
re-energized. And that’s the feeling
here at Simi Valley Hospital!
We’re so excited to see plans
continue to grow and develop for
the $41 million Emergency Services
and Hospital Expansion Project. e
Simi Valley Hospital Foundation
is now in our third year of a ve-
year campaign to raise $3 million
for one of the main components
of that project, the new akkar
Family Emergency Pavilion. e new
building will add 5,500 square feet
to the size of the current Emergency
Department and double the number
of patient beds—from 10 to 20.
