Prepared Childbirth
Four-week courses are o ered year-round.
Plan to enroll in the course by your sixth
month of pregnancy. Bring two pillows
with you to the rst two classes. Space is
limited, so register early. Note: The Baby
Care Basics class is included as the last
week of this course, so there is no need to
sign up for both.

a pediatrician, is designed to answer those
questions so you can relax and enjoy your
new baby.

Women’s Unit in Patient Care Tower
Baby Care Basics
Learn all about the care of your soon-
to-arrive newborn, including bathing,
diapering, feeding, burping, comforting and
car seat safety. This one-session class is also
part of the prepared childbirth curriculum.
