Simi Valley Hospital | Your Health | Spring 2014 - page 2

Familiar
and new
AS
you witness
the growth in
facilities and
services at Simi
Valley Hospital,
you can be
assured that we’re
still providing
the quality, time-
proven services
for which our
community has
come to depend on us.
In that vein, this issue of
Your
Health
brings a mixture of the
familiar and the new. You’ll read
about ways we can help you prepare
to have your baby, our ongoing
commitment to quality care, and
how our classes and support groups
can help you improve your health
and well-being. You’ll also gain some
valuable insight about colorectal
cancer and learn how we can help
you prevent this cancer with a
colonoscopy at one of our facilities.
But you’ll also learn about some
new things: our inpatient detox
program, our hospice program,
our foundation president—and
even a new president for our parent
corporation. We’ll also update you
on the progress of our Emergency
Department expansion project.
So while we embrace the new,
we never forget our longstanding
commitment to serve you with
compassionate, whole-person care—
all for you: body, mind and spirit.
