you’ll nd a comfortable and home-like

You’ll also have the assurance of knowing that if your newborn
needs special medical attention, Simi Valley Hospital’s

nurses, a board-certi ed pediatrician and neonatologist,
respiratory therapists and other medical professionals provide
individualized care in a calm and quiet environment.
Baby step #6: Become a parent
With mom and baby discharged from the
hospital and the bundle of joy literally
bundled and in a car seat, some parents
have a moment of terror: Now what do
we do?!
Simi Valley Hospital’s parenting
classes—including “Preparing for Your First
Baby” and “Baby Care Basics”—will
help you feel more con dent during
those rst few weeks as a new
parent. Our “Sibling Relations”
class will help big brothers
and sisters understand what
to expect when the new
baby joins the family, and
the “Twilight Infant/Parent
Class” is an eight-week
series that helps parents gain
valuable insight into their
children’s development.
